I involved in designing and assisting the coordination of MRT Line 2 station which comprises of preparing schematic drawings, tender drawings, combined services drawing; reports and presentation slides required for Gate submission.Giving the opportunity to do an engineering based project widened my perspective on what architecture can offer despite designing. Skills in implementation, management as well as coordination are what I gained while doing this transit project.MAIN TASK:Co-managing and coordinating station drawings and design for 2 stations in package S204 & S205 of Southern Kuchai Lama Serdang Alignment (SKSA) Section.- Review and coordination of station drawings (preliminary, tender, construction, and authority submission drawing) - Prepare combined service drawing in liaison with structural and M&E consultants- Ensure all design layouts are in compliance to the latest MRT Employer’s Requirement, MRT Design Criteria, authority requirement, and Malaysian Standard.- Provide support for Project Coordinator in preparing Gate deliverables which consist of report writing (Design Basis Report, Room Data Sheets, Value Engineering Report, Constructability Report), material for presentation and Aconex Online Submission- Attend (Virtual Design Review) VDR with client and consultants to rectify BIM clashing via CAD drawings prior to site construction

After finishing Part I, I worked for a sole proprietary architectural firm in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Projects mainly involved proposal of commercial buildings and hotels within constraint sites in the KL city centre. The firm also involved in renovation/refurbishment projects for pharmaceutical warehouses.I assisted in producing construction and detailed drawings, tender drawings and documents, 3D rendering and as well as contacting consultants and material's supplier.I learned how to multitask, doing different works at a time. I learned how maximization of spaces can be obtained within a constraint site in the city. Moreover, going to site meetings and experiencing site inspection gave me more understanding on how practicality of design can be fit-in within existing structures. I worked as part of the academic courses. My first exposure in architectural practice started with designing residential units. I was asked to produce conceptual schematic drawings for semi-detached and bungalows project consisting of plans and elevations which later developed and refined by senior architects. I also participated in building inspection where I got the chance to involve in smoke test procedure.During this period, I was introduced briefly on what are the work scope for an architect and getting experience on how the environments in the office, meeting with other consultants and the early process on how design is being realized into a building. MAIN TASK:Involve in preparing schematic design and presentation drawings for various projects:- modern design of residential units (bungalow and semi-detached house) in Kuantan under PASDEC development.- affordable homestay unit on a private land based on Traditional Seri Menanti vernacular design.
