Adding value to my clients through dedicated service and high-quality product output – these were the results of life lessons learned over the years.The boarding school as a young boy shaped my formative years. Discipline, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills were ingrained in my character making me what I am today.I left for the UK at 13 to study English. I became self-reliant, filled with awe that a person can attain his goals, even with no prior knowledge of a language used by millions across the globe. Fast forward to 1979, I went to Cornell University, Ithaca, USA for further studies honing my communication skills in dealing with diverse personalities.I returned from the US in 1981. I began work as GM of Manarah Market, supervising, and leasing to more than 90 shops. I discovered my expertise in decorating several stores - my first step to a fruitful journey in the field of interior decoration and design.By 1982, I started an interior decoration business as a contractor. Two years later, the First For Decoration retail shop was born. Initially challenged by the steep prices of importing high-end products (we were offering exclusive interior decoration products), we persevered, achieving stellar growth from 1984 – 1986. This was followed by a market shrinkage lasting two years due to falling oil prices. First For Decoration continued to flourish after this period until the invasion of Iraq to Kuwait where we hit another recession. Where others see this as a roadblock, it offered me an opportunity to re-assess business activities, uncover gaps, and implement innovative methods to propel business growth.Today, these accomplishments stand out:- Founding a resilient business enduring 38 years, despite severe global crises- 150+ large-scale projects and still growing- Stable relationships with employees, suppliers, and clientsI look forward to more fruitful seasons expecting growth between 15-20% in 2021 and another 15% in 2022.If my team can support you in any way - let's connect.
