Managed Mexican ETF platform consisting of 12 funds and US$8bn in AUM• Led, initiated and implemented survey to assess effectiveness of products with top institutional clients, leading to the identification and development of product enhancements• Developed and led project to merge the acquisition of Naftrac, the largest ETF in Latin America

Led a team of investment professionals responsible for sales and client service activities for BlackRock's Latin American business with Official Institutions, Pension Funds, Asset Managers, Corporations, Insurance Companies and Family Offices.• Managed a portfolio of US$10bn of 30 institutional clients and originated over $2.4bn in new institutional business in 2010 • Instrumental in building the institutional and intermediary business for legacy Barclays Global Investors in South America, bringing in over $7bn in net new assets in four years • Became the largest asset manager for pension funds in Chile, Peru and Colombia and for mutual fund companies in Chile in a period of three years• Worked extensively with regulatory agencies to allow the use of ETFs by pension funds and mutual funds in South America and for the development of the regulatory framework for launching local ETFs and cross listing ETFs in Chile • Led the completion and delivery of RFPs for institutional clients, organized and hosted due diligence visits and conducted final presentations on clients' premises• Directed the organization and delivery of trainings/seminars at BlackRock and at annual 200-300 attendee seminars for investors in Chile increasing the awareness of BlackRock’s product scope• Attracted, built and retained talent as the team grew from 2 to 70 professionals in five years

Managed all aspects of domestic equity portfolios including index changes, corporate actions, cash management and client activity for over $40bn in assets distributed over 17 funds.• Applied quantitative techniques and models such as Barra, coupled with specific market knowledge, to portfolio construction and risk budgeting • Used derivative products and trading strategies to meet investment objectives and equitize cash in the portfolios• Provided analytical and qualitative support in alpha research to enhance index returns• Analyzed and made recommendations for corporate actions in securities affecting index funds across the firm
