It's time I let go of my seat on the Freshworks RocketshipReflecting on my enriching journey with Freshworks, I've decided to take a brief career break. I plan to return to my hometown, relish quality time with my parents, and recharge.I'm grateful for everything I've learned, the team who guided me, and the culture that shaped me. These experiences have become a part of me and will accompany me moving forward.

● Modular Approach for Global Apps — They allow developers to author code once but run apps in multiple products within the Freshworks ecosystem. I devised code interfaces to allow them to locally test the apps and deploy them to production, keeping varying runtime in perspective at build time.● Freshworks had developer documentation and resources scattered across 10 different places. I would collaborate with technical writing, engineering, design, and marketing teams to get a consensual user experience on developers.freshworks.com● Although gen-AI applications are not yet as mature in the Javascript community as they are with Python, I contribute content and code to open-source repositories.

● Designed and launched a new serverless event for Freshworks Developers that make managing an app's lifecycle easier, informed by 8 user research interviews and community interactions. Developers loved it!● Conducted research to identify developer personae and collaborated with marketing to map their journey into 4 categories on freshworks.dev - Build, Play, Grow, and Partner.● Proposed more than 80 user stories to product development teams to help them identify and address the next pain point for developers. 26 of these stories have already been prioritized or released.● Collaborated across product development teams at Freshworks to imagine and set up an automation that routes requests from developers to the right team, reducing the support burden by up to 35 tickets per month for our team.● Drive a metric-driven culture by aligning success metrics for Developer Relations with our OKRs, adopting the right tools (Orbit), integrating them with our systems, reporting trends and progress, and encouraging change and action via numbers.● Devised and launched an enablement journey for Freshworks partners using inputs from our partnership teams that mapped to foundations', seasoned and enterprise-level certifications.● Upgrade the Freshworks SDK with new UX features to its CLI while ensuring 90%+ code coverage; Released to the community via Jenkins CI as v8.0. ● Build integrations between Orbit, Discourse, Calendly and our internal ticketing systems to enable the team to measure developer engagement activities and start actively measuring monthly active developers.● Hire and Mentor 3 new advocates to help them get on to their feet on the team.

● Established a community of Freshworks Developers at community.freshworks.dev and regularly nurtured it to grow organically into more than 3500+ developers in 3 years.● Managed agenda, content standards, and user experience for one developer summit, three in-person Freshworks Huddles, and three virtual Huddles to ensure outstanding learning experience for the community.● Imagine the outreach activities and get the marketing team onboard to get the right messaging and registration cycles to attract more developer partners.● Provide confidence to customer success teams for the apps they propose for our biggest customers by offering scalable solutions for their business problems.● We use global support systems and ticketing tools to unblock and assist developers. Our automation resolves over 80 tickets monthly.● Attracted attention to Freshworks' fledgling OSS story via participation in Hacktoberfest, resulting in 25 contributors in 2019 and 64 contributors in 2020 and successfully closing over 43 pull requests.● Authored 18 tutorials and 10 Wiki articles identified by incoming demand from the community to scale our 1-many enablement. Sometimes, to help migrate the top 15 apps from Freshsales Classic to Freshsales Suite by authoring critical migration guides.● Dedicated 60 minutes daily to help developers in the community, helping close more than 35 topics every month.● We engaged over 45 teams each time to build apps and publish to Freshworks Marketplace driving internal Hackathons● Imagine the outreach activities and get the marketing team onboard to get the right messaging and registration cycles to attract more developer partners.● Acquired new developers to the platform through the global Refresh App Challenge, which had ~340 registrants, ~100 teams, and 25 app submissions and was designed and driven in collaboration with product marketing to make 7 apps live to Freshworks Marketplace.

Led the Google India Scholars Community program for 1000+ students, achieving a 50% graduation rate through scalable event strategies and data metrics.

I led two squads from the CS and IT departments, comprising a team of 26 members. Our tasks included conducting debates, running workshops, inviting alumni, building a website, and more. Along the way, we learned how to work together as a team and report effectively.

Research and write stories on LinkedIn and encourage the student community to do so by setting up an example of myself. During the course, help the student community appreciate personal branding with employers and express themselves.

I led the Microsoft Student Club at my university, where I organized seminars, presentations, and workshops to help students learn about the latest trends in technology. These activities helped students gain exposure and become more comfortable as they started their professional journeys.As a lead, I was trained by experts at the Summit held at BITS Pilani and brought back a wealth of knowledge to share with the student community.

● Trained over 550 students to start with Android Studio and build essential apps through workshops● Enabled our college to be selected as one of 185 clubs from over 2000 student clubs across the country● Developed an Android app for local tiffin shops to manage their orders.

As a student ambassador for HackerEarth, I hosted 3 meetings, 3 events, and 2 hackathons using the company’s software to improve hackathon awareness on campus

Dell Campassador Program is another brand awareness campaign in colleges and universities. It is done by crafting out a program that has extracurricular activities with students engaging them year long.Complete the marketing and engagement tasks every month and organize events that promote awareness.

Developed and executed a marketing program for Dell to improve brand awareness by visiting 7 colleges across 2 cities in Kerala. Successfully handled the entire region of Kerala, including two cities (Kottayam and Changacherry) and 8 engineering colleges.
