Creative Clusters is a new platform which aims to empower creative communities through a globally connected network of local creative communities.

Matthews Yard operates a 12,000 sq ft hub for creatives which includes a combination of coworking space, theatre, live music room, rehearsal space and a selection of studios for artists and creative professionals. These are complemented by a cafe and bar, operated by award-winning concession Brgr&Beer, the best restaurant in Croydon according to Time Out readers. Opened in response to the Croydon riots, one of my goals with MY was to combat the negative perception of Croydon, while capitalising on opportunities to meet the needs of the creative community in one of London’s most populous boroughs. In 2014 Matthews Yard was selected as one of six case studies featured in the GLA report on Incubators, Accelerators and Coworking spaces. A key outcome of this piece of work was the Open Workspace Providers Network. Matthews Yard was singled out for its unique offer and being a fine example of an outer London creative space. Matthews Yard benefits hundreds of local entrepreneurs and community groups and tens of thousands of Croydon residents. We are one of a rare breed of workspaces which looks beyond the conventional needs of users. Our goal is to meet the much broader spatial needs of today’s and tomorrow’s creative businesses and entrepreneurs. To provide them with more value, more flexibility and more sustainability than a conventional landlord would even consider.

Reported to CEO, Matt Barrie. Responsible for devising and implementing the UK launch including more than 150k marketing budget. Devised UK Marketing Strategy and provided input to global Marketing, PR and Communications strategies. Managed team of 3 in the UK.

Tailor Made Support provided admin, marketing and technology support services to micro-enterprises and start-ups in London, Dublin, Moscow, Amman and New York.Tailor Made Support was a virtual organisation which assembled skilled project teams distributed across the world to deliver specific projects on behalf of clients. Once a project was fulfilled, the team was disbanded. We were an outsourcing intermediary, though we daren’t call ourselves that.Our project management role earned us significant mark-ups together with a reputation for having a can-do approach, offering value for money and having a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

WhichLance was the world's first crowdsourcing marketplace comparison site. I produced a quarterly report which looked at industry trends and growth. By producing the WhichLance report I made contact with the owners and operators of all the world's leading employment marketplaces and ultimately secured my role with Freelancer.com as a result.

Reported to the CFO and devised strategies for internal and external boards and stakeholder groups. Responsible for production and implementation of the organisations first documented IT strategy. My role in "momentum" (not that momentum!) involved helping develop road safety strategies as part of the “Momentum Group” a multi-agency working group which included senior representatives from across the motor industry, insurance industry, DfT and ACPO. The group was chaired by HRH Prince Michael of Kent and aimed to take a multi- agency approach to tackling motor vehicle accident and mortality rates in the UK and further afield.

As Children's Promise Coordinator I reported to the Chief Executive of this Charity that was based at the Millennium Dome in London. The goal of charity was to raise funds by securing pledges from the UK workforce of their final hours salary from the last millennium to be redistributed to leading Children's charities in the UK. More than 15m was raised.

Based in offices in Central Moscow for 12 months I was responsible for helping establish this English language Marketing publication. My role took in aspects of advertising sales, recruitment, strategic planning, networking and contributing stories to the newspaper. One of the highlights of the highlights was organising the Marketing Russia Awards in 1997, a celebration of success in the Russian Marketing Industry. Despite my young age, Moscow offered a lifetime of experience condensed into 12 months.

As Admin Assistant for the Met police I worked in the Criminal Justice Unit at Walworth Police Station where I was responsible for supporting a team of more than 12 clerks and admin officers together with a desk sergeant and a number of officers. In many respects, the CJU was the nucleus of the "modern" police station and one of few departments with a computer. All records from stop and searches to arrest warrants, missing person profiles and all case bundles for the CPS went through this department. The Walworth and Camberwell patch was close to home and offered some eye-opening (and eye watering) insights to local incidents..
