Project: Major Outage At TNB Janamanjung for Tube Replacement HTS1&2 Boiler #Unit2. As Qc Inspector, •Witness NDT work, thickness test and marking area,inspection after complete repair and welding work. • Preparation of Daily Inspection Plan and activities.• To ensure that all the welding and associated action carried out in accordance with the welding specification relevant to the work being carried out.• Inspect fit up condition such as bevel preparation, bevel type, mismatch, root gap, root face, cleanliness & alignment according specification acceptance criteria.• Ensure all consumable, material, size, condition of material, equipment, preheat carried out (where applicable).• To ensure welder qualification.• To ensure that all the welding and associated action carried out in accordance with the welding specification relevant to the work being carried out.• To check all welding defect after the welding complete and prepare request for NDT work.

Experience Brief Summary:•Involve in various pipeline project for welding procedure and welder qualification test activity •Assist Welding Engineers and QA/QC Supervisors for document compilation and submission to required parties.•Responsible in Welding Procedure Qualification Test (WPQT) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT) activities.•Inspect and control all welding consumables and equipments•Maintain identification and traceability and do fit-up inspection checks before welding works•Ensure all welding activities executed in accordance with the approved procedures and conduct visual inspection on complete weld before NDT •Familiar with automatic welding and Record and establish the as-run parameters for both automatic welding and manual welding with ALX System
