- Speaker at the National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Conference, arranged by NCAI.- Leading the development of an integrated software platform for research on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to perform complex tasks in dynamic environments. - Integratation of ROS, MavLink, Px4, and Moveit for state estimation, control, global planning, and visualization. - OctoMap usage for environment modelling and a proprietary implementation of a VFH3D+ algorithm for local planning. - Gazebo/Px4 or Airsim/Px4 combination for deployment of deep reinforcement learning to solve complex problems on UAVs.- Working on the deployment of a semi-humanoid Pepper robot in a banking environment to provide interactive support sessions to users.

- Lead the official research team “Team-NUST” affiliated with RISE Lab, NUST for the years 2017-2019. Team-NUST was established formally in 2013 with the aim of carrying out research in the rapidly progressing fields of humanoid robotics, artificial intelligence, machine vision, and motion planning; with the motivation to participate in the RoboCup Standard Platform League (SPL)- Consultancy resource for students (UG/PG) on tackling robotics research problems.- Successfully supervised two groups of lab interns resulting in valuable research output for the project.

- Worked on the project ROBOCUP of RISE Lab as a part of Team-NUST and competed in ROBOCUP '16 competition held at Leipzig, Germany.

- Implemented and compared the use of grid-based and sampling-based search algorithms for fast and optimal path-finding in real-time on the NAO robot.- Implemented a Kalman filter based tracker for tracking ball in real-time (on the NAO robot as per RoboCup requirements).- Above mentioned projects were carried out to improve Team-NUST’16 performance.

- Produced graphics designs (banners, posters, flyers, etc) for both minor and major society events.- Successful major events include SciON '15, and Science Bee '15.

- Managed junior graphic designers to produce top-quality marketing content attracting more than 50 teams for major events.- Produced the marketing content for the FICS '15 event in collaboration with the NUST Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). The event was a success attracting more than 100 participating teams.

- Observed the production life cycle of matchsticks. - Learned about the various processes of manufacturing used in the production such as woodcutting, Chemical handling, carburizing and waxing of matchsticks. - Observed various implementations of cams, gears, belts and hydraulic systems for automated production.

- Part of a Research program based on the use of RC vehicles as drones. - Worked on the design of RC vehicles to make it efficient enough to be used for help in natural disasters. - Worked on the basic structure, power sources, surveillance, life and safety, and vehicle's ability to provide first aid kits to the survivors. - Trained on Phoenix RC software to successfully operate an RC Helicopter.
