Current Operation and maintenance of all RBS (Radio Base Stations), Power and Transmission equipment and monitoring of all related environmental factors throughout Digicel’s network, to ensure 100% availability of all RBS. Continuously seeks and capitalizes on opportunities to exceed the expectation of customers by resolving customer impacting issues in a professional and result oriented manner. Perform weekly maintenance checks on all PDH hops to verify alarms, received signal levels and BER. Also troubleshoot and resolve all exceptions as necessary and track and trend all issues developing, opening CSRs as required. Perform bi-monthly maintenance checks on all sites to verify alarms on RBS and correct issues where necessary, verify site maintenance and raise tickets accordingly, perform generator checks such as fuel level, alarm present, verify that ATS is switching, highlighting any access and construction issues present and check air condition system. Schedule and perform bi-annual checks on batteries, MSP testing on PDH hops (LTU), 1+1 testing on PDH hops and resolving issues. Ensure all routines and node configurations are stored on the network and are properly labelled. Ensure that adequate spares are stored in the region and test and send faulty units for repairs in a timely manner. Respond to all faults on the network in a timely manner and update all changes in Remedy. Also schedule and perform planned works during the maintenance window.
