Promoted Assam Polyester Co-Operative Society (APOL) along with five friends while studying bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in Assam Engineering College (AEC). This initiatives kick started the advent of polyester synthetic mills in Assam as a downstream industry of Bongaigaon Refinery and Petrochemical Limited (BRPL).Worked in Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) from1982 to 1990 and resigned from service in 1990.Served on deputation to Assam Electronics Development Corporation (AMTRON) from 1987 to 1990 and initiated Entrepreneur Assistance and Development (EAD)programs as Deputy Manager and was responsible in providing assistance to several entrepreneurs to set up several SSI units in the assembly and servicing of electronic products all over the state. Also assisted in setting up of five core groups in different parts of the state for training entrepreneurs on servicing electronic products in the nascent electronic market which had started mushrooming all over the country and challenges to provide servicing and repair of such electronic products was offering scopes to budding technicians of electronic products. Also initiated the setting up of an R&D Center in AMTRON for research into application of electronics in tea manufacturing. This effort also resulted in development of various electronic sensors for monitoring vital parameters like humidity and temperature in tea processing and manufacturing.Promoted ARUNUDOI Apartments Pvt. Ltd in 1987 and ventured into Real Estate Business. Resigned from ARUNUDOI in 1992 and promoted MEGHMALLAR in 1992 as a family venture and still continuing to serve in what ever way possible.Promotion of real estate business as a service (PORIBAAS)is an option currently being tested by MEGHMALLAR and has plans to launch PORIBAAS as a service in the real estate market within 2023-24 financial year.Promoting and testing a concept called Responsible Human Business Practices (RHBP) to make business accountable and responsible to all stakeholders in general and the society and environment in particular. Meghmallar is endeavouring to built up a responsible and human centric business Eco System to enable people and business to provide distributed social initiatives independently and collectively to address concerns to reduce pollution and carbon emission and at the same time provide inclusive and sustainable environment friendly social initiatives to generate employment.
