During this One month Internship at GHMC Uppal, I have been engaged in " Supervising the ongoing developmental works duly following the standard specifications as per the instructions Dy. Executive Engineer's of the concerned AE".

I had the opportunity to learn and work during my internship period at GHMC Uppal Circle-2.Possessing a solid technical background does not automatically make someone a potential civil engineer; rather, practical experience is important and helps to make the knowledge acquired in the classroom meaningful. I have gained knowledge of the government project tendering process, departmental structure, and the various authorities' roles and responsibilities throughout this industrial exposure.During my internship, I have been assigned the role of Supervisor to ensure that the work is proceeding in accordance with the plans and specifications established by the engineer. I had the chance to learn about and take part in a variety of urban development projects taking place throughout the city, such as building roads, sidewalks, storm water sewer pipelines, and VDCC (Vaccum Dewatering Cement Concrete) roads.In addition to my scientific and practical understanding, I recognized the value of teamwork. A competent engineer should be able to manage the workforce and finish the project by the scheduled date. The reciprocal links between the contractor and the engineer and the contractor and labor were also explained to me.Overall, this internship at GHMC has taught me things that are not included in the literature.
