As the Lead UI/UX Designer for Bees by IEM, the official social media platform of my college, I was responsible for designing an intuitive, visually appealing interface that resonated with the student community. Working as the sole designer in a team of four, alongside three developers, I played a crucial role in shaping the app's user experience. Key responsibilities included:1) Designing a user-centered interface using Figma, ensuring the platform was both visually engaging and easy to navigate across devices.2) Collaborating with the development team to align the design with the technical implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience.3) Conducting user research, wireframing, prototyping, and creating design systems to enhance the app’s functionality and usability.4) Leading the design process from concept to final product, constantly iterating based on user feedback to improve engagement and accessibility.5) Ensuring that the UI adhered to modern design principles and was responsive across various screen sizes, creating a unified user experience.This experience allowed me to take ownership of the design process while working closely with developers to deliver a cohesive, user-friendly platform.
