• Reviewing architectural plans, structural engineering drawings and calculations, producer statement documents, memorandums from licensed building practitioners/designers/engineers, certificate of titles, reports and specifications for residential and commercial building consent applications, and residential plus commercial amendment applications in lodgement.• Competent in using Auckland council GeoMaps to locate hazardous sites such as flooding zones and contaminated sites, as well as to check for underground services.• Staying in contact with first point of contact (owner/architect/designer) on request for further information.• Making the final judgement to accept/reject residential and commercial building consent applications and residential plus commercial amendment applications in lodgement.• Efficient in using SAP and Hybris system for data administration.• Generating and sending letters of acceptance/rejection of an application to first point of contact.• Inspecting various construction sites varying from simple dwellings to multi-unit dwellings, involving cavity wrap inspections, residential final inspections, pre-line building inspections, post-line inspections, plumbing inspections, membrane tanking inspections, foundation inspections and drainage inspections.
