I'm an engineer on the Android UI team at Netflix. My team builds the beautiful Netflix Android app that lets you watch and discover shows and movies.

From March 2018 to present, I've been the TL for the home experience of the next generation of Android TV OS. I am the sole TL for 13 software engineers. I designed and implemented the core UI, database, and networking architecture. I used modern frameworks such as LiveData, Room, Robolectric and Dagger 2 to create a maintainable and testable codebase.From December 2015 to September 2017 I was the TL of Google Dialer. I was the sole TL for 12 software engineers. I worked closely with carriers and OEMs to preload the app on multiple devices. During my time on the team the active user count grew by 2x with a "hockey stick" growth trajectory. The release cadence for the app went from once a year to once every 6 weeks.From October 2013 to December 2015 I was the TL of Android voice client for Google Fi. My team was responsible for all client components of the voice calling experience. This included Android OS frameworks and multiple over the top applications.From December 2010 to October 2013 I worked on Chrome with focus on Mac UI.
