Link Financial Technology offers a "pay by bank" solution. It is a low-cost and secure payment method to allow customers to pay for goods and services using their bank accounts.As the first engineer and engineering leader, I built Backend, Customer Experience, AI/ML and QA teams from scratch. Setup an offshore development team to scale rapidly. From the time I "git init"ed the first repo, we haven't stopped until we built a fully functioning solution within a few months. • Provided hands-on architectural leadership for the team that implemented major portions of webOS to ship a successful webOS smart TV in one year. Overcame geographical and language barriers to define and deliver cohesive platform strategy. webOS Smart TV won many accolades and sold millions of units.• Lead-architect on improving platform adaption by making webOs more customizable to work on very low-end to high-end hardware• As an architect responsible for overall webOS platform, drove various technical teams to align towards a robust platform • Working with Program Office, restructured the team into Agile scrum teams that delivered platform releases on time with high quality• Designed the second-screen and related security protocols for the webOs TV to allow secure access from remote mobile devices. Led the team in implementation.• Built the automation framework and several automated tests in python. My stability tests helped identify system stability issues to drive towards a 100% stable platform• Personally conducted memory analysis and optimization of the system to reduce minimum memory requirement for the product from 2GB to 1.5GB. Developed the necessary tools.• Assumed the role of security architect and served as consultant for many platform and product security decisions• Deep-dived into various last minute product emergencies to identify solutions under time pressure. One such example is time and timezone management in the system.• Championed patent harvesting effort to help file 15 patent.
