As a consultant anesthesiologist at The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), I apply my expertise to provide safe and effective anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. I also participate in teaching and training activities for medical students and residents, and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and protocols for the anesthesia department. I have been working at AKUH since 2015, and have gained valuable experience in managing complex and challenging cases, such as cardiovascular, neurosurgical, pediatric and obstetric anesthesia. I have also developed my skills in mechanical ventilation, regional anesthesia, and perioperative care. Besides, I am an ICU and Critical Care Physician. I am passionate about advancing the field of anesthesia and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, innovation, and collaboration.
