We employ both synthetic and natural polymers and/or ceramics to produce structures/matrix ranging in size from macroscopic to nanoscale and featuring a wide range of functional properties. Hemostasis, antimicrobial resistance, regulated medicine delivery, and skin regeneration are just some of the therapeutic needs that we design and tailor these structures to meet. We also utilize CFD to learn about individual hemodynamic features, which aids in the diagnosis of cardiovascular and neurological problems.As a part of my undergrad thesis, I researched on the following topics.* Preparation of Gelatin-based Hydrogel incorporated with dopamine* Extraction of Antimicrobial Peptides from natural sources (corn and wheat).*Testing efficacy via animal wound model (Histology tests) and Antibacterial tests.
