About Saima Siddiqui

➢ How do we ensure that ALL students - regardless of background - have access to a great education and have the tools and support necessary to enter, navigate and thrive in the world of work?➢ How can we mitigate structural barriers and better equip both higher education institutions and employers to value diversity of thought and background?➢ How do we build higher education and professional partnerships that prepare today's students for the global careers of the future? These are the centering questions I have focused on over the course of my career.➢ As CEO & Co-founder of gradGREENHOUSE, a Singapore based EdTech company connecting students with colleges and employers, I’ve made it my mission to give students tools to shine in admissions and recruiting. We built 2 SaaS recruitment platforms unlike any others in the industry. Our Virtual Career Fair allows candidates to interact live with recruiters and our Video Admissions asynchronous interviewing platform lets college and university faculty screen applicants more fairly and holistically. We formed strategic partnerships with 3 major universities in Singapore, and demo'd our platforms for universities across the globe, including Australia, Malaysia, the UK and US. The 17k students and 800+ faculty members on our platforms have given it a 95% satisfaction rating, and tell us it has improved their admissions and recruiting process in speed, quality and diversity.➢ At The Washington Center (TWC), I led the partnerships team, working with 500+ colleges and universities to bring students to Washington DC for career development programming, internships and networking that built the bridge from college to career. We worked with corporate partners to provide pipelines of diverse talent and launched the alumni engagement strategy to maintain connection with 60k TWC alumni and increase fundraising efforts. ➢ At National University of Singapore (NUS), I led Career Services - completely overhauling the department, refining our value proposition and building strategic partnerships with top employers - helping graduates secure high-profile jobs and resulting in higher salaries and increased rankings. I worked closely with Marketing & Admissions on growth strategies and, international recruitment, messaging and conversion of applicants. I’m a builder, driven to increase access and opportunity for all. ➢ I build teams that are excited about the mission. I build innovations that solve problems and open doors. I build partnerships that are mutually beneficial, drive revenue and change the game.

    Singapore, Sg
College is supposed to be a game changer, but for too many students, it's not. Underrepresented students struggle to access opportunities and jobs, while employers want top, diverse talent but continue to hire similar profiles from the same schools and backgrounds. With a vision to build tools to help universities evaluate students more fairly and efficiently, connect employers to talent pipelines and change the trajectory of students’ lives, we built gradGREENHOUSE.We built 2 SaaS platforms to change the fundamentals of recruiting and evaluating students: one to host virtual career fairs – the first of its kind for higher education clients – and the second to enable video interviews between applicants and colleges and universities. The video interviewing platform reduces admissions process time by 70% and expands the geographic reach of universities, driving improved outcomes and access through a holistic approach to measuring for performance and passion. ➢ Raised investment capital from institutional and angel investors, and earned a spot in EduSpaze Cohort 4, the premier EdTech-focused accelerator program in Asia with a 4% acceptance rate. ➢ Scaled the platform to 17,000 students and 750+ university faculty users for video admissions with a 4.5/5 customer satisfaction rating. ➢ Created a customer-obsessed renewal strategy and earned 100% retention of clients. ➢ Secured 3 major collegiate partnerships with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Institute of Technology and National University of Singapore. ➢ Generated 228% YOY growth. ➢ Drove visibility and credibility efforts, including the launch of a podcast where I interviewed industry leaders like New York Times Bestseller Lindsey Pollak. ➢ Recruited, architected infrastructure and fostered inclusive, connected culture with fully-remote, international team of 14. ● Named an Inspiring EdTech Female Founder in 2021 by SuperCharger Ventures ●
