I have joined TJX Global IT India as a Director of Product Portfolio (Merchandising Solutions). In this role, I will primarily be responsible for Prioritising and Driving Key initiatives delivering Business Growth and Digital Transformation.

I was first exposed to the blockchain technology in 2017. It was an eye opener and I am amazed how certain usecases can hugely benefit from true decentralisation offered by various blockchain technologies. While there are many companies attempting to bring real world adoption for using blockchain tech, I have supported and invested in a few of them.1) Pylon Network - There is a huge lack of trust in today's energy sector. A small company in Spain trying to build a Neutral Data Hub by bringing consumer energy data onto blockchain. The decentralisation of energy data is going to pave the way for implementing the Collective Self Consumption use case which is going to disrupt the green energy sector in Europe.2) Elastos - The current internet is broken where a User has no control over his / her data. Elastos is aiming to change this by building a true decentralised internet where a User will control who can access their data. This new internet will sit on top of the current internet but will have its own sandboxed environment supported by decentralised carrier network, decentralised storage and decentralised apps.

Assumed multiple roles during the 9 year stint within the Product Management team reporting to Head of Product (Oracle Retail). Multi-vendor (Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, Oracle) engagement for product delivery 1) Duration: Oct'18 - Apr'20 -> Role: Global Product Owner (Inventory and Stock Ledger) -> Solely responsible for global alignment of 15+ Business processes between the US, CA and Europe divisions around Foundation Data, Inventory Management and Stock Ledger to enable the delivery of a Global code repository. Define a vision and roadmap for building and delivering these processes. Train and Support Global BA's / Other Product Owners in the Product Management Team. 2) Duration: May'15 - Sep'18 -> Role: EU Product Owner (Principal BA) -> Played a key role in implementing and upgrading the Oracle Retail Merchandising (ORMS) and Sales Audit system (OReSA) for European Business of TJX. Partnered with Business for delivering Training and cutover of Key Financial systems from Legacy to new version. 3) Duration: Jul'12 - Apr'15 -> Role: Senior BA -> Working on the implementation of the Custom Buying application for the European Business. Requirement Gathering, CRP's, Process Flows etc. 4) Duration: Jul'11 - Apr'12 -> Role: Oracle Retail Consultant -> Worked on the conceptual Oracle retail designs for TJX (contracted via IBM)

After working for 6 years as a full time employee at an IT consulting firm, I decided that I should venture out and provide my own consulting services in the Oracle Retail niche. In September 2010, I have started my own IT consulting company and providing services to Global retailers in Grocery and Fashion domains. Contracted by Tesco to work on their UK IT NBS Program (New Buying System) Delivery. Part of the Solution delivery team responsible for1) Business Requirement gathering and solution designing for Automated Clear As You Go process that will replace the legacy Markdown tool with Oracle RPM2) Requirements for enabling the Self service checkout at Stores3) Architecture guidance on the transactional feeds to Datawarehouse for building an auto reconciliation solution of data between source (stores, warehouses) and target (oracle RMS)
