She studied at SOAS (University of London), and has some art (RISD course), interior design (Insight school) and creative writing (Catapult magazine workshop) training as well. ▪️She has critical perspective across the corporate world, developed through work with entities like Uber, Netflix, GE, Gap (in-house in people functions/as an external partner). ▪️She ran Trufflepig Search, an executive search firm in Hong Kong doing Asia-wide searches (owned by Berkhemer Clayton Inc., the long-standing executive search firm based in LA) for several years. ▪️She worked as a strategic communications agency executive in New York, at Fenton Communications and Ruder Finn, with corporate clients, progressive public causes, and non-profits. ▪️In her early career, she held internships at Eurasia Group, The Aspen Institute, Agence France-Presse, CBS TV, National Criminal Justice Association, Weber Shandwick, and the World Bank.▪️Sai is multi-lingual, and has lived in several countries. ▪️She also curates a design + travel focused project called The Particular Rover (@theparticularrover on Instagram).
