Headed the Credit Risk Management function for Commercial/Middle Markets of the largest bank of Pakistan covering Central and North region (Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, RYK, Gujranwala, Islamabad and Peshawar). Had an independent Credit Autonomy of PKR 200M and key responsibilities were as follows:• Ensure credit process comply with bank’s credit policy and SBP regulatory requirements. • Run periodic stress testing to minimize credit losses. • Timely recognition of weak accounts.• Restructuring of watch listed/stressed accounts as well as ensuring correct classification and provisioning accordingly. • Coach relation ship management and credit support staff on limit structuring, risk rating and credit risk appetite.• Assess and maintain oversight of the credit risk quality across commercial portfolio. • Risk profiling and identification of TM for the commercial and retail banking group and facilitation in developing of RAC’s.
