• Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program• Review of new contracts and agreements, group wide, to ensure that legal risks have been appropriately mitigated. Assisting the management of all business with respect to any legal documentation, negotiations and hiccups.• Responsible for conducting compliance audits to confirm that the companies are following terms and agreements or the rules and regulations that apply to a particular activity or day to day practice, pertinent to their respective businesses, as is prescribed by an external agency or authority or as per law. Including maintaining appropriate documentation• Conducting risk analysis concerning regulatory compliance and developing audit programs based on it – Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and Compliance violations• Giving recommendations to the management for strengthening the internal control structure of businesses found to be non-compliant• Remaining abreast of changes in regulations applicable to group companies

• Reporting directly to the Secretary Health Punjab, as his Legal Aid, my core responsibility wasn’t limited to management of the contractual obligations entered into, for and on behalf of the Punjab Health Secretariat, for improvement of the provision of services. But to also amicably resolve disputes, aid in policymaking, and ensure that they fall well within the lawful ambit to be respected.• Managing & monitoring online Information Systems in all Tertiary and Teaching hospitals across Punjab. Oversee and audit contract implementation and execution under the timelines, alongside liaising with stakeholders and vendors. • Research on relevant health laws in Pakistan, working cohesively with the Government Policymaking departments. Leading to Drafting and proposing amendments in existing Health Laws.• Assisting, supporting, and coordinating with Director Procurement and Contract Management. Establishing/Drafting and administering contracts concerning the procurement of modern medical equipment from local/International Vendors/Service providers. Addressing contract inquiries, issues, disputes, variations, and undertaking negotiations with all parties involved. Mediating and handling disputes on the procurement agreements signed between private vendors and the Punjab public health sector.• Developing systematic up-to-date Contract management and documentation procedures. Aiding, assisting and strategizing all litigation matters pertinent to the revamping of the entire healthcare structure in Punjab

• Drafting all Legal documents that were needed in the course of Business. Alongside handling all internal and external communication on points of law and any claims or suits to be filed or being defended.• Overseeing all contract negotiations and providing feedback. Vetting all legal documents that are sent or received on or behalf of the Company. Advising on all legal business matters to the department or the Group if and when needed.• Lead Counsel for the Energy project. Cohesively worked on matters relevant to contracts, energy wheeling agreements, negotiating deals with NEPRA, managing the PPA & O&M contracts for the company, working in liaison with RIA Barker and Gillet Law Firm. • Partnered up with the group HR team on various management projects on several occasions and superintended the company CSR activities.• Handling all the legal aspects relevant to the CSR projects taken up by the Group. The contracts and documentation required to initiate them and ensure their smooth running in the future. Presenting CSR proposals to the board for review and approval in the monthly board review meetings. • Organizing and conducting tours to relevant areas where such initiatives were being taken up by the Group and representing their CSR division at various institutes and organizations on behalf of the firm.• Handling all internal and external Communication done by the group, i.e. any in house achievements, events or traffic lights, and putting together simple yet articulate pieces for the group’s external accreditations.• Working in liaison with the marketing cell and drafting content for most of the marketing campaigns.
