Performed Content Based Image Retrieval with Visual contents such as Color, Texture, Shape using various Image features and similarity metrics and thus retrieved the best results that match with the query image, achieving high precision and recall.Performed Object based detection using various image properties, eliminated shadows employing specific properties of colour spaces, classification and tracking was done by the blob properties of foreground images and the count on objects was also taken which can be used for automated surveillance.
