The Dominican Corporation of Power Companies is the administrator of all companies in the energy sector where the Dominican state is the owner or majority shareholder, it also functions as a regulatory body for the generation, distribution and transmission of electricity in the Dominican Republic.Principal responsibilities and duties: - Design, coordinate and lead the social responsibility strategy, which includes leading the social team (6 members) and the interactions with more than three hundred (300) stakeholders;- Coordinate interventions related to community health and safety and emergency preparedness;- Guarantee the compliance with national (Licenses, Management Plans) and international (International Financial Corporation guides, IFC) requirements, for both, the direct influence area of the Thermoelectric Plants and its associated facilities, being the 345kV Electric Transmission Line of 44 kilometers long, the main one;- Lead, in collaboration with the legal department, the land acquisition process along the transmission lines (138kV and 345kV). As a result we negotiated with 522 affected people and 46 dwelling considering both lines. - Implement the Integrated Management System of the Execution Unit of Generation Projects (UEPG);- Support the internal and external auditing processes and corporate communication strategy;- Maintain relations and alliances with CDEEE's internal departments, external actors in the electricity sector and public ministries to guarantee the exchange of inputs and corporate strategies unification in favor of joint strategies;- Support the top management in the strategic planning from the beginning of the construction phase.The Punta Catalina Thermoelectric power plant includes two power generation units of 376 MW gross each, for a total of 752 MW gross, located in the Municipal District of Catalina, Baní, Peravia Province, Dominican Republic.

Principal responsibilities: Ensured compliance with the national social plan of the Directorate; coordinated the general logistics of the different operations and community interventions; compiled the reports of the Electricity Distribution Companies (EDEs) in social matters and made the progress reports of the sector.
