I first heard the dial tone of the internet when I was only six years old. From that moment, my computer and I were inseparable! My earliest memory of my first computer was the old DOS games, and spending ours playing roller coaster tycoon! Eventually I decided that I wanted to make my own game - and I remember puzzling over developer documentation when I was far too young to make sense of any of it.I was never any good at mathematics when I was younger, and it took me a famously long time to learn my times tables when I was young. Fast forward a few years and who knew you needed so much mathematics to make a game 🤯 What begun as a childish fascination, morphed into a deep love of mathematics that changed the course of my life! But it was all just a lucky accident!I studied Mechatronic Space Engineering at the university of Sydney and began teaching at around the same time. That's when I first realized that by teaching, I could help others have the same experiences that I'd had growing up. I eventually began working on treena.org, with the mission to "simplify complex concepts" so that anybody could eventually understand them. I worked in the 3d, space and machine learning industries for a while, but I eventually came to the conclusion that I wanted to spend a lot more time on treena.org. This helped embed me into the world of business development - I realized just how hard it was to turn a vision into a working technology product. So along with my work on treena.org, I've spent my time helping as many like minded people as I possibly can, turn their ideas into working products that are improving the lives of others every day!
