As a flight school veteran, my journey has seen me wear multiple hats - from the cockpit as a Chief Flight Instructor to the boardroom as a CEO. These diverse roles gave me a profound understanding of the intricate cogs that power a flight school's operations. My mission became clear: to bridge the operational gaps and ensure every student and staff member experiences streamlined processes, allowing them more time to connect and immerse in their passion for flying.I founded Saiwala & SkyStream, two ventures focused on providing tailored workflow automation solutions. Leveraging advanced platforms like Google Cloud, Asana, and custom automations, our offerings are uniquely crafted to meet the specific needs of each client. More than just software solutions, I see them as instruments that foster efficiency, reduce overheads, and most importantly, nurture the human connections at the heart of every flight school.Let's embark on a transformative journey to propel your flight school to new operational efficiencies. If you're intrigued about optimizing your admissions and enrollment management or curious about how tailored automations can reshape your operations, let's connect.

I launched Saiwala to save people time. The goal of Saiwala is to take all the experiences I have had and bring them together in helping businesses optimize their internal workflows and thereby save time. The business model is to split the cost savings my workflows generate 50/50. If there are no savings, there is no cost. Workflow architecture requires an in depth understanding of how people are inside organizations. People do not want to change their habits unless it benefits them, and this transition requires support and finesse. Secondly having the skillset to talk to management and calculate the savings potential these workflows have is important. Without management saving money and time there is no contract. And third, I have the skill set to execute the software and code required to automate workflows, customize organizations and in the end create a better work environment for the employees, while at the same time saving management money. Sometimes, quite a bit.

In March of 2019 my beloved Florida Flight Training Center was sold to a friend and longtime aviation business partner. Before he finalized the sale, he asked me to be his CEO and manage the entire flight school. Having worked every job inside the flight school since my time in 2010 I felt ready to take on this challenge. During my tenure we expanded the flight school. We opened a second facility next door, expanded the fleet to 18 airplanes and modernized all internal systems. By early 2020 we had scaled the school to be ready to accept 100 students annually. Needless to say, the pandemic hit us rather hard and put a stop to our plans. After going into survival mode however, we were able emerge strong and by March 2021 FFTC was able to accommodate 100 students. During my time as the CEO, I managed every aspect of the Flight school. I was responsible for the accounting, bookkeeping, flight department and maintenance of the airplanes. It was a big job and a big challenge. During my time there I also automated and redid the entire workflow process at the school. With automated scheduling, integrated billing, and a custom-made enrollment system, FFTC is in a much more efficient place than it was before. Again, my passion for workflow architecture showed and I decided that it was time to make my new dream a reality.

In this role I assume much more of the management responsibilities of a flight school. Instead of teaching the students how to fly, I began teaching new and current teachers how to teach effectively. I needed to make sure that the FAA Part 141 standards were upheld, and teachers did a good job with their students. At some point I managed 12 flight instructors. While quality control was important, building and maintaining a culture focused on safety was even more important. Open communication about mistakes and strong procedures regarding the teaching of risk management were at the core of my focus. Under my leadership the Florida Flight Training Center has renewed their FAA Part 141 Certificate in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.

In this job I enjoyed one of the greatest adventures of my life. I taught international students how to fly. Following the FAA Part 61 & Part 141 regulations I excelled at having an excellent first-time pass rate throughout my entire teaching career. I loved teaching students how to fly and to this day I would say that this was the best part of my flying career.

In 2015 my dear friend and I launched our own Company. Another of my great adventures in life. We were both wanting to build something of or own on the side and decided that his programming skills complemented my eye for sales and finances. Together we helped companies modernize their online presence as well as automate their office workflows. This was where my passion for Workflow Architecture was born. We helped bring Clydebtucher.com into the internet of things. We built iCommand Mobile App for Stream Surfer, so that their customers can interact with their yacht through their phone. We built an automation system for farms via Smart Farm Systems. No matter where you were in the world you could control your farms irrigation remotely through your phone. From this adventure I built many great relationships that are lasting me to this day. And now that I am a full time workflow architect, I still love working with many of the clients that I initially met during my time creating Abixweb, Inc.
