As a Lead Planning and Controls Engineer, I am responsible for overseeing and directing the comprehensive planning and scheduling activities across multiple projects. • Strategic Project Planning: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project plans encompassing resource allocation, Risk assessment, Cost analysis, and scheduling using tools such as Primavera and MS Project. Deliver regular progress updates through detailed dashboards and narratives. Perform critical path analysis and look-ahead planning. Develop detailed resource plans, including man-hours and manpower requirements, to optimize project execution.• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS): Expertly frame WBS and CBS to establish clear project frameworks and cost hierarchies, facilitating efficient resource allocation and budget management.• Comprehensive Project Documentation: Create, manage, and publish a wide range of project documentation, including schedules, risk registers, forecasts, meeting minutes, and financial reports. Ensure real-time access to critical project information for informed decision-making.• Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast project revenue and prepare detailed progress curves for internal and external reporting, providing stakeholders with clear insights into project performance and financial outcomes.• Progress Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize Earned Value Methodologies (EVM) to monitor, analyze, and control project progress and costs. Identify variances and implement corrective measures to ensure project objectives are met within defined timelines and budgets.• Risk Management and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk analysis and critical path analysis to proactively identify potential challenges and develop recovery plans. Address changes, challenges, and opportunities through timely variance reports and risk mitigation strategies.• Schedule Management: Maintain and update project schedules on a periodic basis, ensuring alignment with project milestones and objectives. Publish progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status and developments.
