Sajal Javid is a strategic and results-oriented human resources executive and a certified diversity professional with over 20 years of experience in various industries. She is currently the Chief Human Resources & Culture Officer at Alley Theatre, one of the leading regional theatres in the US, where she leads the equity, diversity, inclusion, access, and belonging (EDIA) efforts and oversees all aspects of human resources management and organizational culture.At Alley Theatre, Sajal has successfully implemented and measured strategic plans, programs, and best practices that align with the company's vision and values. She has also increased the representation of BIPOC staff from 18% to 40% in three years, thanks to her EDIA-focused recruitment strategy. While working for Aramark, she saved the organization $800k in one year while enhancing employee engagement, wellness, and performance.
