CurrentRole & Responsibility As Divisional Manager For Execution of Projects:Overseeing Project Managers on hotels, F & B outlets, offices, luxury villas and retail projects, ensuring:•Coordination and authority approvals.•Ensuring the projects are completed as per an agreed program and budget.•Close coordination and leading the main office based supporting team like design and draughting QS’s and estimators•Closely coordinating and supervising the workshop fabrication and installation team for in house joinery works•Ensuring the site installation team works according to the agreed time scale•Conducting regular meetings with subcontractors ensuring their performance and quality.•Conducting weekly meetings with the whole construction team and initiating minutes of meetings, reviewing of drawing/document and materials submittal registers so that proper follow up is taken up for drawing and material approvals and material orders.•Reviewing subcontractor’s material and drawing submittals.•Ensuring that the final authority approvals, relevant document requirements and inspections with regulatory authorities are taken up well in advance so that the approvals are obtained within the program.General Responsibilities: •Overall financial success of the division confirming net profits.•Forming business strategies with higher management for future developments into possible interior markets.•Participating in tendering process including site visits and attending to mid tender interviews.•Monitoring project managers so that issues are discussed and resolved continuously.•Day to day running of operations and responsible for fabrication and installation of high quality joinery and interior works.•Managing a team of professionals of approximately 30 staff, 200 furniture carpenters and around 150 other trades men who help run the interiors and joinery division.•Control of expenditure & overheads for the division.•Management of a fabrication and paint workshop.
