Part of the DevOps team responsible for the infrastructure at Nylas. Technologies used: Terraform (with a Terragrunt wrapper), Ansible, Debian, AWS (a bunch of products), Cloudflare, MySQL, and a bunch of others that I'll remember to put here eventually.

Main responsibilities for all the middleware & integrations between Tekscape’s internal systems. Skills include the integration of systems, SQL queries for reporting, automation / scripting, and ownership of ConnectWise. Continued to be utilized as a Sr. Systems Engineer for systems architecture and escalations.

Senior most technical member of the team responsible for projects and support of systems infrastructure. Primary responsibilities include automation, scripting, and systems design /configuration. Microsoft Windows, Server / Exchange (2003 – 2016), VMWare ESXi deployment, design, troubleshooting, and administration. Server technologies include all flavors of Microsoft server, Office365, VMware, and Nimble / NetApp SAN. Tier 3 Desktop & Server support.

Tier 2 Server / Desktop support and management for all TekScape clients. Primary responsibilities include desktop support, Microsoft Windows, Server / Exchange (2003 – 2013), VMWare ESXi troubleshooting, administration, and deployment. Technologies include Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V, ESXi, IIS, UCS, iSCSI, NTFS, etc. Major client included 3 – 5 days a week onsite for server support with over 500 VMs and dozens of ESXi hosts.

Tech support for all Citadel clients. Primary engineer for one large local client and part of an engineering team for international non-profit. Responsible for all aspects of IT management at both clients (VMWare based virtual infrastructures with shared storage, vCenter, local exchange, SharePoint, etc.). Other duties include on-call rotation, documentation, recommending upgrades for clients, designing solutions to current issues, and implementing approved projects.

Responsible for infrastructure design, license management, and client relationships for an IT Services company. Primary responsibilities include analyzing client’s infrastructure and making recommendations, consulting for meeting client business or software goals, and proactive support for renewals of vendor licenses.

Systems & Network Administrator who has successfully maintained the LAN/WLAN for a school and village of vulnerable youths in rural Rwanda. In addition to all the issues of being in a developing nation I fix all the normal problems with the network infrastructure, workstations, and servers in a windows domain. Strengths include technology adoption, education, and collaborating with staff and partners to improve weaknesses in the hardware / software infrastructure.

Design, manage, market, and implement all summer camp programs and year round special events. Coordinate volunteers and their projects. Administered the computer network and all other information technology infrastructure.

Main duties include remote client support, on-line support, and on-site support for many professional organizations; with an emphasis on customer service.
