SNC-Lavalin is one of the leading engineering and construction groups and a major player in the field of Power, Infrastructure, Hydrocarbons and Chemicals, Mining and Metallurgy and Transport.Primary responsibility is to create protection and control design drawings for 34.5kV to 500kV substations. The P&C drawings includes Single line protection and metering diagrams, AC/DC schematic and wiring diagrams, Protection logic diagrams, CT/VT sizing calculations, AC/DC auxiliary system calculations etc.The protection schemes includes Line differential protection, distance protection, power transformer protection, busbar protection, breaker failure protection and shunt reactor protection etc.Other roles and responsibilities of the job are:To provide design activities in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including SNC-Lavalin’s policies and procedures.To review the design based memorandum, detailed engineering scope and to align the engineering deliverables according to project requirements.
