Team leader and overall responsible for below;•Operation & Maintenance of SIE/SLTE Equipment of International Submarine Gateways of STC which include SMW-3, SMW-4, IMEWE, FLAG, EIG, MENA, GBI, SAS-I & SAS-II. Equipment here includes Alcatel-Lucent (PFEs, SLTE 1620, SIE 1670 & 1678), TE Subcom (PFEs, Gen1 & Gen3 HPOEs), Huawei ( BWS 1600S, OSN 8800 & 9560) ,Xtera, NSN (HiT 7080), Mitsubishi (MF-1280GWS), Ciena 5430.•Operation and Maintenance of Earth Station and ITMC at Jeddah having a variety of equipment installed at these stations for Satellite communications through Arabsat & Intelsat and IPLCs & Voice traffic through SDH/DACS/CSAS RTU/MODEM/Switches/Routers.Equipment at these stations includes Tandberg E5720, E5611, TT1250, TT6010, Radyne DVB 240 & DVB 3030, Vikinix Audio A3232/Video V1616 Routers and TSM, Comtech EF DATA SDM 8000, CDM 600, Paradise P300, Miteq U-9693-6 & D-9641-1, Vertex RSI SCR-14000 U/Cs, STS V901-80AB D/Cs, HPAs (2.25KW, 700W & 400W), DX-3000, 3000F, 5000 & 7000, DXC, DACS-II and NetMAC etc.•Handling and maintaining NMSs for aforesaid equipment which includes 1353 NM, 1350 OMS for Alcatel-Lucent, TEMS & TEMS NMS for TE Subcom, Node manager 2.0 for Ciena, U2000 for Huawei, NMS for Mitsubishi and NetMAC.•Coordination with Submarine NOCs and Satellite Operation centers for various O&M issues and troubleshooting of alarms.•To ensure that vendor recommended Preventive and Corrective maintenance routines are being followed for all mentioned equipment. •Handling internal and external customer complaints through Remedy Trouble Ticket System (RTTS) emails respectively. •Following up with international partners & providers like TATA Comm., Level-3 and many others, for issues in their domain for early restoration of customer services.•Proficient with test equipment like OTDRs, COTDRs, Transmission Analyzers, Splicers, Spectrum Analyzers, Submarine Cable Test Set Tinsley 5910, Power meters, Sweep Generator, Audio/Video Waveform monitor etc.

To setup new mobile satellite vans and fixed terminals. Manage RF spectrum and optimize its usage for excellent video quality. Slice the spectrum to accommodate maximum simultaneous live events, at the hour of need. Conduct training of newly hired technical staff. Operation and Maintenance of Fixed terminals and Mobile Satellite Vans. Troubleshoot problems and ensure quality coverage of live events and talk-shows. Configure and operate IP-based VSAT communications.
