CALIFORNIA HIGH SPEED RAILWAY PROJECT: This segment from San Jose to Merced begins at Scott Boulevard in the City of Santa Clara and ends at Carlucci Road in Merced County. The segment has four subsections with several alignment alternatives. The alignment alternatives include aerial, at-grade, viaduct, trench and deep tunnel.
