I received my basic education in my hometown of Lakhi Ghulam Shah. I completed my graduation and, master's from Govt Degree College Sukkur. I started my professional career as a Computer Hardware Technician at Pakistan International Airlines. After, two years of hard work and extensive training, I received my first salary/stipend of PKR 700 per month. I worked at Jaffar Brothers Private Limited as a Computer Hardware Engineer for five years before switching my profession to Blood Banking. I obtained my Diploma in Transfusion Medicine from The Hussaini Institute of Hematology in Y2K and worked as a Blood Bank Technologist. I then switched my profession again to Public Health and joined Interactive Research and Development (IRD). At IRD, I worked on different research projects such as HIV high-risk group mapping in 25 districts of Pakistan and the Pneumonia project by Neumo-adip. I completed my projects successfully and joined Aga Khan University as a Project Supervisor in 2009. I worked to initiate the Birth Registry project funded by GNRU at Thatta District for four years and am currently working on two projects in Karachi and Afghanistan. I completed my M. Phil in Social Sciences from Hamdard University in 2014 and am currently enrolled in a PhD program in Social Sciences. I am currently working as a Research Specialist at the Community Health Sciences Department of Aga Khan University.
