Crafty is reimagining the end to end RFP and tender response workflow with AI at its core. Crafty supercharges high performance enterprise sales with AI to help discover, manage, and respond to complex RFPs.Crafty improves RFP win rates, increases RFP revenues and reduces the 100 hours it can take to craft an RFP response to less than 5 hours.We can cater to both cloud and on-premises deployments.

Geniepay was a payments platform built to serve high-value B2B ecommerce transactions. My cofounder and I launched the fully functioning platform and funded thousands of dollars worth of transactions. We were able to approve and fund 30 day payment terms for transactions up to $100K within 15 seconds. Geniepay's business model required substantial debt funding for the company to scale. Unfortunately, with the high interest rate environment, there was not an economically viable path to grow the company. My cofounder and I took our learnings from Geniepay to launch the future of AI and procurement at Crafty.

Volopay is a YC-backed company on a mission to save businesses time and money by giving them complete control over their expenses. I launched the Australian business taking it from zero to six-figure ARR. As part of my role I was:● Responsible for the country P&L, building and achieving revenue targets● Worked closely with Sales, Product, Design, Marketing & Customer Success to create productsand experiences adapted to the needs of local clients● Prepared due diligence materials and attended fundraising meetings with VCs for Series A round● Local face of Volopay at conferences, media appearances and industry forums● Engaged with federal regulators to ensure compliance and growth in a heavily regulatedindustry● Created a partnership ecosystem with local stakeholders across accounting, financialservices and technology companies● Worked closely with the CEO and CBO to co-create the global strategy and Australianmarket strategy to ensure smooth operation and alignment of the global operations withcountry operations

As part of my role, I was involved in:•Creating and executing business strategy objectives for the growth of the business, including strategy papers, marketing materials, webpages, product brochures and product development roadmaps;•Designing, launching and managing the Islamic finance product set for the bank, and have assisted with growing that product from $500m in total originations to $1bn. NAB is the only bank in Australia with this capability;•Working closely with teams of tax advisors, lawyers, consultants, APRA and clients to drive product development and business processes;•Structuring and originating tailored debt solutions for corporate clients based upon their financial objectives;•Organising and preparing presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals;•Preparing information memorandums and pitch books for clients and investors; and•Conducting financial assessment and feasibility of the transactions.

I worked in a client coverage team within the Global Institutional Banking division of National Australia Bank. The division is a global, specialist team in which I supported the Directors in managing and providing banking solutions to institutional clients to address their capital, portfolio management, liquidity and transactional banking needs. As part of my role, I was involved in: • Writing credit proposals and conducting due diligence for new transactions;• Engaging in industry related research, financial analysis and credit risk management on existing transactions; • Developing product knowledge across financial markets, debt markets, transactional banking and working capital services;• Attending client meetings to explore new leads and opportunities;• Portfolio management in relation to exposures and triggers across the client portfolio; and• Providing key regulatory information to internal and external stakeholders.

Joined the Antler accelerator in Singapore to build a fintech focussed on the needs of small businesses in south east Asia. Due to COVID and shutdowns, I had to return to Australia early.

I was invited by Universitas Al Azhar to present on the fintech opportunities in Indonesia.

I was selected to be amongst 100 MBA students from business schools across the world to participate in the summit. The summit allows for the exchange of business ideas and best practices. I was also selected to present a session on corporate innovation to my fellow delegates.

I was selected to be part of the Australian delegate of the Australia Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program. The program is run by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Australia Indonesia Institute. I had a wonderful time on this program visiting schools, government bodies, hospitals, charity organisations, banks and fintechs in Indonesia.

I worked within the Finance and Treasury department of the bank. My team was responsible for managing billions of dollars’ worth of residential mortgage backed securities, asset backed securities launched in the capital markets and long term investments held by the bank. As part of the role, I was involved in: • Setting up of new and amending existing RMBS trusts;• Arranging relevant securitisation audits;• Undertaking research and analysis on funding projects;• Reviewing payment calculations for existing securitisation trusts;• Monitoring exposures and triggers and reviewing regular reports;• Preparing responses to investor and ratings agency questions;• Providing information to internal and external stakeholders;• Assisting with implementation of regulatory changes;• Completing data validation and testing resulting from system changes; and• Analysing portfolio for assessment and determination of funding plans.

I was in the Complex Litigation and Insurance practice area. I undertook legal research, prepared briefs for Counsel, responded to the billing queries of the clientèle, maintained and updated the working folders of the matters being worked on and drafted various types of legal documentation. I was also involved in doing discovery for two large matters; one involved a large pharmaceutical company and the other matter concerned the Victorian bushfires of 2009.

I worked in the Commercial Litigation practice area. Specifically, my work related to debt recovery and insurance matters. I was responsible for more than fifty matters and was involved in issuing letters of demand, statements of claim, filing default judgements, drafting letters of advice, attending court, attending negotiation and settlement proceedings, drafting submissions to be made at court and initiating bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings.
