I am an enthusiastic QA Engineer, who is experienced in the software testing field. Mostly my expertise is in Automation testing . I have a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology along with more than eight years’ experience working in the IT department of a major tech corporation. My capabilities include writing detailed test plans based on project requirements, preparing specifications, analyzing test results, and reporting back to the QA Manager and identifying any possible QA issues. I have participated in several full software development lifecycle projects, from the initiation through the implementation phases, and I’ve had the opportunity to enforce quite a few processes. On my most recent project, I implemented a sign-off process so there’s an audit trail for changes in requirement, changes in code, or even changes in the infrastructure, which promotes accountability. I’ve performed many different types of testing, including black box, white box, and front- and back-end testing, and manual testing using tools such as JIRA, which I also use as a test management tool and for defect management.I’ve always preferred to work in groups and find that my collaborative nature is one of my strongest attributes. On projects that I directed, I work well to inspire diverse team members and work side by side with them to achieve the project goals. My strongest asset is my work ethic and my willingness to step in when needed. I’m not afraid to take on a difficult client or do a project that nobody else wants because those are the clients and projects that teach me the most. I typically love to work outside of my job description and do whatever is asked of me. I'm not above any single task, and I take great pride in my ability to step in and adapt to any situation to get the best results for the company.
