• Leading the printing section • Production Planning for printing and binding section .• Planning maintenance of presses and keeping maintenance records and checklist and authorizing it.• Preparing production sequences for printing & Binding section.• Approving the press proof and authorizing the production reports .• Planning & Maintaining required spares in presses like rollers, blankets, urgent press parts etc. • Attending Quality review meetings conducted by editorial division.• Implementing methods to improve quality and reducing newsprint wastage by starting projects based on requirement.• Conducting Newsprint , Heatset Printing Ink , Coldset printing ink , Blanket wash , fountain solution and other chemical trials and making report based on the trials.• External Compliant Handling from Customers and advertisers and compliant analysis.• Doing Job Safety Analysis and safety audits• Training the printing team – Internal trainings based on requirement .Giving trainings to printing team for newly installed machines and equipments .• Internal Auditing and Intra Auditing for ISO 9001-2008.
