Responsible for Procurement department for UAE and Qatar handling all material including machineries, subcontract and consumables.Handling th projects MobilizationResponsible for full spectrum of purchasing functions of sourcing and maintaining key vendor relationships and supplier interaction to achieve the best results by means of negotiation.Responsible for developing and implementing short-term and long-term procurement strategies designed to reduce costs and improve quality and service while meeting company’s goals and objectives and work closely with the procurement team and other staff to ensure these measures are achieved.Identify the opportunities of supply or services for Preparing formal bid documents in compliance with procurement policies and regulationsAnalyzing contracts for effectiveness, identifying areas of weakness and implementing improvements to increase marginsPlan, direct, or coordinate the activities of purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products and services.Set up procurement saving targets each year in conjunction with the company management and monitor delivery against targetsAssist the finance department for budgeting the machineries required for operation.

Achieve business plan targets and objectives for cost reduction without compromise service & quality levelsReview technical specifications for major and critical purchases and develop effective procurement strategies in order meet end-user objectives and requirements.Identify the supplier according to company sourcing procedures and communicate with suppliers in order to establish capability, estimated lead times and negotiate pricing.Prepare tender documentation for approval, invite bids from selected suppliers and undertake technical and commercial evaluations in order to ensure conformity with requirements and competitive pricing.Forecasting and planning of the material in all site stores and work closely with operations departments in various sites ensuring efficient, timely and cost effective supply of materials and services.Propose, Evaluation and Approval of new and existing vendors and manage ethical relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability.Leverage purchasing power through consolidation of purchasing requirements in order to achieve economies of scale. Prepare and submit the periodic reports regarding procurement activities to the management.

Purchasing machinery Items, raw materials and machinery consumables etc. related to plant production.Conduct trials for all new suppliers and raw materials as per plant requirements and in accordance with product guidelines.Meet shipping schedule by ensuring the delivery of materials on order by constant follow up with supplier.Coordinate and follow up with the local and international supplier with regards to delivery packing and other details pertaining to the order. Advice the delivery schedule to logistics departmentAdvice the shipment schedule of global post-order placement for operation and planning department Negotiate and implement short-term/long-term contracts with suppliers for all the raw materials and finished goods in line with industry and/or product quality standards.Working closely with material department to analyze and understand the material requirement. Assist and follow up cargo acceptance, bill of lading, BL surrender message with logistic department. Obtain the invoice, DO packing list etc from supplier and advice accounts dept to prepare payment.
