As a Project Manager, Sara provides design and technical support for various civil and structural engineering and roofing projects. She specializes in building repair and restoration engineering projects by completing assessments, analysis, recommendations, and designs for structural, building façade, roofing, and balcony systems. She also has extensive experience with fall protection/façade access systems, inspections and testing; facility and property condition assessments; and parking garage assessments.

Completed repair and restoration engineering projects for a broad range of base building systems including; structural, exterior wall, roofing, waterproofing, fall protection, and parking garage systems. Responsibilities included assessing and analyzing existing conditions, designing solutions, reviewing proposals and contract documents, and monitoring construction efforts. In addition, managed and assisted with large-scale facility condition assessments to provide building owners and managers with valuable information to use in their budget forecasting and capital planning efforts.

-Completed pavement condition inspections and pavement maintenance management implementations using the PAVER software. -Planned and implemented pavement condition field evaluations for multiple military bases/garrisons.-Updated and organized PAVER databases for data entry and analysis. -Collaborated with federal and municipal clients to provide technical and analytic services regarding pavement maintenance management.-Reviewed and revised all final reports and proposals submitted to clients or potential clients.-Managed various projects simultaneously, utilizing time management and delegation to complete tasks on time and within budget.-Researched and developed more efficient methods for analysis and map generation through PAVER and ArcGIS software.

-Completed land and resource analysis for the potential lipid productivity of microalgae and generatedmaps of the United States in ArcGIS to support the findings and provide visual representation.-The maps and figures generated were published in the BioEnergy Research article titled “Geographical Assessment of Microalgae Biofuels Potential Incorporating Resource Availability” withDr. Jason Quinn as the first author.
