My environmental engineering experience encompasses a variety of compliance services and field work including compliance auditing, hazardous waste reporting, Phase I environmental site assessments, preparation of SPCC and SWPP Plans, construction oversight and administration, soil characterization and management, and environmental sampling and monitoring. I provide environmental regulatory compliance and permitting support to both private and municipal clients.

Construction Oversight and Administration: Managed several construction projects acting as field engineer and liaison between Owner and Contractor. Responsibilities include contractor procurement, holding weekly progress meetings, submittal and pay requisition reviews, progress reporting, and field inspections. Woodard & Curran serves as Town Consulting Engineer for three municipalities in Westchester County. In this role I review proposed site plans for compliance with local and State regulations, conduct on-stie stormwater and erosion control inspections, and provide recommendations to local Planning Boards and Town Boards.Soil Characterization and Management: Served as the on-site environmental engineer to observe, document and direct the handling and management of soil during excavation activities. Developed sampling protocol for soil characterization for disposal and/or onsite reuse, responsible for field equipment, and coordination with laboratory.Regulatory Compliance Assessments: Provided support to private and municipal clients on the myriad of permitting issues related to federal and state environmental regulations. Role includes the assessment of non-compliance issues and development and implementation of appropriate retrofits or programs required to achieve permit renewal deadlines and compliance objectives.

For this internship I supported the Ukiah, California field office for 3 months performing weekly site visits at local Indian Reservations, field surveying, office support including reporting and cost estimating.
