Manage the SCADA Team on daily operations and projects to ensure the reliability of the SCADA systems are well maintained. Manage communication links for SCADA and other SCADA projects to ensure timelines are met. Provide SCADA operational analysis and strategic issues to ICT management for future performance improvement. Site installation and commissioning of remote terminal unit (RTU) and other SCADA pre-commissioning tests. Liaise with overseas and local suppliers on supply chain and technical issues. Manage power supply for SCADA equipments (12 & 48V DC) and power backups for all SCADA communication equipments (UPS). Available 24/7 for emergency callouts Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault isolations of radiotelephones, radio bearer and microwave system. Stringing, splicing and termination of fiber optics cables for communication links. Networking and cable structure works-CAT5 & 6. Wiring of Controls, Indications and Metering from plant interface of circuit breakers in substations and generators in Power stations using MD1000/MD3311 RTUs and commissioning of these stations to be remotely controlled from National Control Centre. Installing and programming of SEL3530 RTUs for the Protection upgrade of the 132KV system. Programming SEL2032 RTUs and commissioning of new Input/output points for the upgrade of circuit breakers in existing substation and the remote control of new substations. Working on MOSCAD RTUs and Motorola/Data Radio to link it back to master station.Cimplicity program used for monitoring at Control Centre and on HMI in Power stations. Cut-over of MD3 protocol stations to DNP3 using MOXA units. Converting some sub-stations from serial base to IP base. Cable structure works, Installation of PBX, Cisco switches, routers, WIFI and assisting in programming these equipments. Deploy and program IP/analogue phones at various FEA stations.
