Quantitative Analyst, Private Markets
Current• Assist a Private Equity client with substantial Assets Under Management (AUM) by analyzing capital movements and investment activities of their General Partners.• Process and evaluate an average of 150 General Partner reports quarterly, capturing, analyzing, and reporting fund investment activities such as follow-on investments, realizations, and corporate actions, including M&A, spin-offs, IPOs, delisting, etc.• Analyze quarterly financial reports of General Partners to track fund movements across underlying portfolio companies and derive Limited Partners’ capital balances on a quarter-on-quarter basis.• Manage co-investment projects, track Limited Partners’ quarter-ending capital balances, calculate MOIC (Multiple on Invested Capital), and update capital commitments.• Perform detailed analysis of capital distributions to ascertain General Partners’ carry distributions and provide comprehensive reporting to help Limited Partners monitor fund and capital movements effectively.
