In my current role, I oversee Career and Technical Education AAS degree and certificate programs, including Nursing, Allied Health, Animal Sciences, Entertainment and Music Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Criminal Justice, and Equine. I routinely conduct systematic program and faculty reviews, as well as evaluate all online courses delivered through Canvas LMS. Additionally, I develop and oversee ongoing professional development for all online instructional pedagogy. Key contributions in this role include effectively supervising over 30 staff members and full-time faculty, in addition to 15 adjunct faculty members. I have consistently managed operational budgets in excess of $3.5M. I am proud to have developed and grew community and industry responsive degree and certificate programs to meet local and national needs. Throughout this role, I designed post-secondary eLearning courses for a diverse population of graduate and undergraduate students. I routinely applied research-based learning theory to identify appropriate instructional strategies. I collaborated with administrators, staff, faculty, students, and vendors to develop course content to enhance a transformative learning experience. Moreover, I spearheaded academic support and training for faculty, staff, and students, capitalizing on certification as Blackboard GUI Administrator. At the University of the Southwest, I also served as Program Coordinator for Special Education and Educational Diagnostics as well as Coordinator of Special Projects. In this capacity, I served as faculty advisor for graduate students enrolled in special education and educational diagnostician programs. I also facilitated proper course rotation to effectively meet student needs. I conducted comprehensive data analysis across the School of Education. I routinely developed curriculum maps for all education degree programs to ensure outcome, course, and program alignment. I also successfully authored assessment reports for state and regional accreditation efforts, including HLC. In addition, I also served as Title IX Coordinator. During my tenure in this role, I served as parentis in loci for up to 80 academically talented women, as young as 13 years old and ready to begin college courses in lieu of high school. I effectively oversaw recruiting, placement, and retention of all students. I routinely coordinated comprehensive academic and residential functions of students’ collegiate experience. I coached and mentored seven residential and four office staff members. As the program expanded from previous age range to include girls up to age 17 in 2011, my official title was changed to Executive Director, Early College.

In my experience at the University of Virginia, I facilitated all key aspects of enrichment programming, serving more than 1,400 students annually through a Saturday program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade at three sites, in addition to a summer residential program for rising 5th through 11th grade students on the campus of UVA. I frequently developed and approved program curricula. I thoroughly enjoyed overseeing talent acquisition and supervising more than 36 residential counselors and 70 educators, managing a budget of more than $1.2M.
