In late 2017, I assumed responsibility for the Motorsport TV project, and have been actively contributing to its development ever since. At the time of takeover, the platform hosted around 500 videos, with no more than 300 active users and severe performance issues that led to system failures with just 200-300 concurrent users, hindering scalability.To address these challenges:- We revamped half of the existing codebase, transitioning to TypeScript and adopting it for all new code.- I engaged in strategic communication with the business, directly influencing decisions that shaped the service's development.- Corporate frontend development standards were introduced under my guidance.- I established a robust management structure for the frontend team, ensuring timely completion of planned tasks and addressing urgent issues within an hour.- I mitigated the bus factor by immersing developers in all aspects of the project.Alongside the team, I developed an API Gateway using NestJS.- I actively participated in the selection of suitable technologies for both backend and frontend components.- Conducted approximately 50 interviews, successfully hired around 20 individuals, and provided training to 10 frontend developers. Two of them left for personal reasons, two advanced to leadership positions, and one assumed a leadership role within the Motorsport Network on a different project.

I joined the company directly into the role of Tech Lead, even though I might not have felt fully deserving of the position at that particular moment. Shortly after, I took on the responsibility of training a new team member, dedicating six months to imparting essential skills in React.js, encompassing topics such as managing Server-Side Rendering (SSR), configuring webpack, and more. Following this training period, the mentee transitioned to a new project, which he currently leads.Meanwhile, my focus shifted to supporting D3 widgets. Subsequently, by the end of 2017, I was entrusted with a new project and assumed a new position within the company.

My work primarily involved the development of various web-related projects. In the initial month, I created a multi-threaded parser, successfully collecting approximately 2TB of data. Subsequently, in collaboration with management, a strategic decision was made to transition fully to frontend development, focusing on building a Single Page Application (SPA) using the React + Redux stack.However, as time progressed, the project faced challenges in obtaining necessary data, leading to a decision to temporarily suspend development. During this period, my responsibilities shifted to writing parsers in JavaScript using Node.js. Eventually, I received an enticing opportunity to work with an international startup, prompting my decision to resign and explore new challenges in a dynamic, global environment.

I initially worked on developing websites, though I must admit that the early projects are not representative of my current capabilities. Shortly after entering the field, I joined a two-person team and later expanded to include a third member. The first developer, with significantly more experience than me, played a crucial role in our success. Together, we successfully undertook the second, third, and fourth projects.The fourth project, kaspado.ru, proved to be more extensive and time-consuming than anticipated. Unfortunately, financial constraints arose, making it challenging to complete the project. Consequently, I made the decision to seek employment elsewhere, eager to continue honing my skills in a professional setting.

My initial foray into development began with my first job in the field. During the first month, I underwent comprehensive corporate training for newcomers, covering essential topics such as git, http, sql, and Linux. I was granted the opportunity to make minor edits to the CRM project, a task that, according to the project manager, took me longer than expected.Unfortunately, my lack of experience led to my dismissal during the probationary period.
