I am a Financial Reporting Manager at FREYR Battery, a US-listed company that produces clean and cost-effective battery solutions. I have over ten years of experience in financial reporting, technical accounting advisory, group consolidation, financial analysis, and finance transformation. I hold a Chartered Accountant degree from India, a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, and I am pursuing CPA from the US.My mission is to ensure the financial accuracy and compliance of the group's consolidated financial statements in US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. I act as an expert on US GAAP-related matters and develop consolidation processes and SOX controls. I also collaborate with cross-functional departments such as treasury, tax, investor relations, and M&A to provide financial insights and support. Additionally, I am passionate about finance transformation and automation of group reporting, leveraging my skills in MS Office, SAP, Hyperion, and SAP S4/Hana.Having worked in different countries (Luxembourg and India) with teams from all over the globe, I am well versed with working in large and diverse team environments and meeting stringent deadlines. I have also gained valuable experience in working for another US-listed company, ArcelorMittal Europe, as an IFRS Consolidation Specialist. Before that, I was a consultant at EY and KPMG, where I managed advisory projects for various companies listed in India and imparted training on accounting topics. I am a keen learner, a proactive communicator, and a team player who strives to deliver high-quality results and add value to the organization.
