As a Boston-based visual artist, educator, and curriculum developer, I find immense joy in my explorations, especially when I discover intriguing shapes formed by the interplay of light and shadow during my walks. My artistic journey delves into capturing transient moments, focusing on shapes and timestamps found in architecture. Certain shapes and architectural forms resonate deeply with me, akin to a comforting home where emotions flow freely. Recently, I've been captivated by working with cotton muslin, a translucent fabric I acquired during a trip to India. Through a unique process involving a warm iron and fresh ink, I create artworks that breathe and evolve, reflecting my passion for experimentation and innovation. My love for painting, printmaking, and photography knows no bounds, and I've had the privilege of participating in group shows in vibrant cities like New York, Boston, and Mumbai.
