Working as an optical Planning Engineer in the optical domain involves checking Traffic feasibility, Network Planning, Implementation of Network to the customer in the Network Management System (NMS).Traffic engineering involves, guiding provisioning engineer with a best possible path and ensuring diversity is provided to circuits. Planning the network by keeping track of network availability.Creating OSM word orders for sites TDM to IP conversion and DCN.Supporting for PTN Box removal.Working for Open topology cases.Supporting for Traffic shifting the sites.Working to remove the unused trails, service in the network.Working for Topology & UME Creation and deletion.

Configuring and service providing in HUAWEI equipment’s such as RTN910, RTN905, RTN950 & RTN 950A, OSNX8, OSNX16, OSN550, OSN500Handling-ECI-equipmentsXDM1000/XDM500/XDM100/BG20/BG30Node Insertion on Live TopologyRerouting the Traffics (ECI & Huawei) in case of outages.Trouble shooting Errors/Fault happening in OSN SDH LayerBasic level Implementations like Topology Creations, creating New STM connectivity’s between Fibers & UME Creation,Taking Back-Up for all nodes on Regular Basis, etcCoordinating with Fiber Engineer for Early restoration of Fiber Cuts or Fiber Planned Events.Coordinating with O&M Team for Traffic shifting and testing case to resolve the circuit issues.Coordinating with ECI & Huawei Care engineers during the time of outages.

Handling ECI & HUAWEI Fiber Equipment like ECI XDM500, XDM1000 & DWDM 6100, OSN3500, OSN7500.Provisioning for SDH trails (VC12, VC3, VC4)Analyzing Alarms and Troubleshooting & Configure the Services as per Customer RequirementCoordinating with our Vendors for Technical issues and Fiber cut and other critical issues.Escalating the fiber cuts to fiber engineers.O&M Spare maintenance & Coordinating with Logistic Department for O&M spare items Transaction.Daily Report maintenance for providing good Service to the Client.Performing weekly Mux backup, and regular Health checkup of the equipment’s.
