Sal is the CEO and Co-Founder of Arccos Golf, makers of the most advanced data capture and AI platform in golf. As a scratch golfer, he has a deep love and appreciation for the game, and is well-connected in the golf and technology ecosystems.As the CEO of Arccos, he combines his passion for the sport, deep entrepreneurial experience, and data expertise to lead the company to greater heights. In 2018, Fast Company recognized Arccos as #3 in its prestigious list of Most Innovative Companies in Sports. The company has secured ground-breaking partnerships with Microsoft, Apple, PING, Cobra PUMA, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Pride.Prior to Arccos, Sal worked at software startups as a software engineer, engineering manager, product manager and data architect for over 10 years. He was a senior engineering member at his last startup, Landslide Technologies, a venture-backed cloud CRM company that was acquired by j2 Global.Sal received his MBA from Yale where he was a Fellow at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute. He has been a featured speaker at Yale University on Entrepreneurship and Leadership topics. Sal belongs to the Young Presidents’ Organization and sits on the board of YPO Greenwich.Sal has scored four holes-in-one, three of which he credits to the power to Arccos Caddie. He is passionate about golf course architecture and is also a Golf Digest course rater. At Ohio Wesleyan, he was captain of both the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team and the Cricket Team. He has also recently been recognized as the top innovator in golf by the industry-leading publications including Golf Magazine and Golf Inc.
