About Sang-Sun Ahn

Dr. Ahn Sang Sun is the founder and CEO of M-Robo, an external venture of Maeil Business Newspaper. With a diverse background, Dr. Ahn has experience working at the Korea Rural Economic Institute, Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, and Maeil Business Newspaper.M-Robo Co., Ltd. is a media venture that originated as an in-house project at a media company. The company provided robot reporters (stockbots) to Kookmin Ilbo and has undertaken numerous projects with the Korea Internet & Security Agency, Korea Press Promotion Foundation, and Korea Communications Agency. Currently, M-Robo offers its own AI-driven news platform, Money-Robo.During his tenure as CEO, Dr. Ahn has achieved notable successes, including winning the Asia Open Data Hackathon and receiving the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award twice for his contributions to the field of data startups. He is also the inventor and registrant of five patents in the areas of artificial intelligence and blockchain.Dr. Ahn holds a doctorate in economics from Dongguk University, specializing in Micromathematical Economics.
