My responsibilities included managing my floor and bar team to motivate them in generating great sales as well as providing a great customer experience; this aspect focused on being able to meet sales driven targets. As well as helping implement open and closedown and procedures that not only reduced labour costs but increased efficiency. I also took responsibility for welfare duties for all customers. This taught me how to deal well in situations under pressure. My other responsibilities included venue maintenance during the week as well as managing stock levels working alongside management. My duties included creating rotas 2 weeks in advance, managing stock for the bar, recording the days takings, creating new menu items and recruiting a team a team that lead to average weekly takings of £40,000. I was responsible for dealing with bookings as well, from small occasions to large corporate bookings. I lead in this area taking over £3,000 in pre-booking sales on average per month.
