I spent 8 weeks at Al Dhafra Hospitals’ Human Resources division as part of HCT’s Work Placement program where I was assigned with various administrative tasks such as data entries from paper documents as well as legal documents, along with assisting staff with customer services. For the first week, I started my internship at the accommodation department where I was tasked with accurately inputting and updating employees’ information accordingly. I was also responsible for notifying employees regarding lease renewals. As for the second week, I was placed in the government relations department was in charge of inputting invoices in the form of comprehensible spreadsheets through Excel. On the third week, I spent majority of it familiarising myself with Oracle through SEHA’s portal where I was tasked with notifying employees of the status of their medical applications, as well as communicating with them through the phone.

Worked on an 8-week remote internship at ADNOC Offshore as part of HCT’s Work Placement program where I was able to learn and apply my knowledge about the operations and structures of Human Resources fundamentals and different divisions including but not limited to: Employee experience, employee relations, planning and support, as well as the administrative functions of business and human resources. Through this work placement, I was able to expand my knowledge about advanced human resources management skills.
